An Exploration of Layered Process and Figure Ground Relationships

This project is not about a relationship between building and landscape.

It is a project about building as landscape, about landscape as building.

Through series of stereotomic operations made with strict adherence to a common grid, both elements of landscape and building were designed with one another in mind, to create a weaving where neither could be understood if separated.

Both must exist to complete each other. They are the same, and thus there is a continuity of experience throughout the project. Where one moment begins to end, another has already begun.
